Privacy Policy

This is a simple static website. We don't run accounts or comments.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites. It tells us which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from, nothing that identifies you.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site, for example where they tap and how far they scroll, through usage analytics, heatmaps and session replays. Clarity sets its own cookies. What you type into forms, like your email address, is masked and never recorded. Clarity doesn't run for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to that data.

Videos

We don't embed video players. Links to our videos open on YouTube, where Google's privacy policy applies. Some video thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers.

Fonts

Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers the font file.

Our map

The map on our map page loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap and its code from jsDelivr, which receive your IP address when they deliver those files.

Links to other sites

When you click an affiliate link (for example Amazon, Power Queen or VannCamp), that site may set cookies so the purchase can be credited to us. Their privacy policies apply there. See our affiliate disclosure.

Email

If you sign up for our emails, we collect only your email address. It's stored with our email provider, Brevo, and used only to send you our own emails about our travels, city guides and products. We never sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Deleting your data

To have any data we hold about you deleted (email sign-ups, or anything from our Facebook/Instagram tools), email rinaandmichaellee@gmail.com and we'll delete it within 30 days.
